Mark Allen Mayfield, 54, of Morgantown, passed away on March 21, 2022 at home. He was born in Morgantown on February 11, 1968 to the late Edward “Sonny” Eugene Mayfield and Anna Lee Murray Mayfield. Mark worked as an autobody mechanic and enjoyed hanging out with his buddies in the garage. Mark is survived by his wife of 22 years: Beth Ann Huston Mayfield; daughter: Laz Elliott (Nick), his grandson and pride and joy, his “Papoose”: Kailar Elliott; sister: Charlotte Anderson (Kirby “Howard”); niece: Stacy Anderson (Justin Siko); father-in-law and mother-in-law: Philip and Ann Huston; sisters-in-law: Chris Snider (Steve) and Janet Huston; and his great buddies: Lorn Murray, Joe Bennett, J.R. Downey, Marcus Scafella, and many more. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents: Howard and Carlota Johnson Mayfield and Bill and Rachel Murray.
