Gary Lynn Wade, 86, of Morgantown went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Gary was born in Morgantown on August 8, 1935 to the late Arbeth and Thelma Eddy Wade, of Morgantown. Gary was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving during the Korean war and he worked as a Conservation Officer for over 47 years. He enjoyed running, golfing and spending time with his family. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Loretta Fisher Wade; children, Trudy C. Skidmore (Mike), Karrie R. Ditmore (Mark), Carlton B. Wade, and Jennifer L. Winans (Bob); grandchildren, Sarah E. Barry, Justin Ditmore, Haley McCreery, Lauren Bertelli, Lindsay Winans, and Carleigh Wade; 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Arberth J. Wade. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother David Wade. Family and friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2022 and again on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service with Pastor Tammy Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
