Bob, I don't know where to begin. All the stories I grew up with; you and the Harley-Davidson, riding while standing on the saddle, advancing the spark enough to imitate cannon-fire while rolling past the farm, provoking a fight with the third-shifters you woke from a sound sleep, blasting through hedge-rows. Then there was the Dodge D-500 and the minor misunderstandings between you and the State Troopers. And of course that incident with your dad's prize turkey. Family legend.
You so graciously took me in for a few days and showed me around the old homestead after my dad passed, let me chase some ghosts and get it out of my system. You filled in some blanks in our family genealogy. You even surprised me with the old kicker-knocker great-granddad passed down. I always looked forward to our annual visits and I am so grateful that we were able to talk on your 90th birthday. Bob, you will be missed.
Labeth, Brink, Don and families, please accept the condolences of the entire Michigan contingent of the Lough family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Godspeed, Robert.
Your second favorite cousin, Rob
