Sharon Ann Bower Coombs, 69, of Morgantown passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. Sharon was born in Morgantown on April 18, 1952 to the late Edgar and Annabelle Bower. Sharon worked as a bookkeeper for HRDF for over 20 years. She attended Kingdom: A Community Church and she loved her Lord. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow, camping with family and friends, reading Harlequin romance novels, looking for the ultimate score at a yard sale, and watching Hallmark movies no matter the season. Most of all, Sharon was everyone’s mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was loved and will be missed by all. Sharon is survived her daughter Tammy (Ryan) of Morgantown and Tabatha (David) of Morgantown; son: Matthew (Jenna) of Morgantown; grandchildren: Valerie, Lucas, Kohen, and Anna; sisters: Diana (Marshall) and Dottie; nieces: Karen, Brandy, Emily, Audrey, and many more. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Frank Coombs; her sister, Linda; nephew, Eric; and brother-in-law, Jim. Visitation will be held at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 7 pm with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating.
