After sharing a childhood with his six brothers and sisters with a maximum amount of music and orneriness, Jim attended Davis and Elkins college after a debilitating injury to his shoulder due to a mining accident. After attaining his A.S. in Accountancy Jim moved to Houston, TX where he worked in the oil and gas industry for five years. After this time, he created Tax Professionals Inc which served thousands of taxpayers over its 22 years of existence. Letting life take him where it would, Jim ended up back in Morgantown, where he succumbed to internal injuries due to a heart attack. Jim was a lifelong lover of Christ, Donald Duck, lighthouses, and music. Serving as vocalist and drummer with The Gospel Singing Koon family, Jim always found solace in a traditional hymn, gospel, or just a good old fashioned country song.
