Cheryl Lynn Malone, age 75, of Westover, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born November 2, 1945 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late David Thomas “Tom” Jackson and Dorothy Geraldine “Gerry” Newlon Jackson. Cheryl had been employed by West Virginia University in the accounts payable department. Cheryl loved to travel to Virginia, researching genealogy. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting. Cheryl also loved connecting with friends on social media and sending “Jib Jabs”. Cheryl is survived by her son Sean Malone of Westover, one sister Karen Jackson Sucher (David) of Belleville, MI, three nieces Carrie Sucher, Laura Sucher, and Jill Everingham all of Michigan and many cousins and other family and friends. Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Malone. Friends may gather at Pisgah Cemetery for a graveside service on Friday, January 29 at 2 pm.
