Leanna Mae Bosley, age 84 of Westover went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at WV Medicine Hospice. She was born January 10, 1936 in Greene County, PA a daughter of the late Lonas Lindsay and Sarah Ann Fox Lindsay. Leanna was a retired LPN from Mon-Pointe with 35 years of service and was a member of Kingdom A Community Church. She adored the patients at the nursing home and was always concerned about their welfare. She carried this trait to her home, where she was a loving and doting, mom, grandma and great grandma. Her heart and kitchen were always open and everyone was fed, from her family to the homeless community. Leanna was also passionate about shopping for bargains and playing bingo at the senior center. Leanna was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all. Leanna is survived by two daughters, Debbie Hayley and husband James of Blacksville, Connie Barnett and husband Greg of Westover, a step-daughter, Donna M. Tennant and husband Floyd of Fairview,daughter-in-law Irma Snyder of Waynesburg, PA, 2 additional step-daughters and one step-son, one half-brother, Butch Maxwell of Sabraton, grandchildren, Danny P. Snyder Jr., Deanna E. Ware, Todd M. Snyder, Little Rosalie Martin, Sarah N. Jones, Brian K. Tennant, Tammy K. Cole, Wendy Abbott, Chris Stickles, special cousin, Peggy McIe and special friend, Barbara Jenkins, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Leanna was preceded in death by her husband Fred Allen Bosley , son Danny Snyder, and sister Rosalie Weaver. The family requests that because of Leanna’s love of feeding children, that donations be made to the Kingdom A Community Church SOURCE Backpack feeding program, 540 Fairmont Road, Westover, WV 26501 Friends may call at Kingdom A Community Church, 540 Fairmont Road on Monday January 11, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Mausoleum. Due to COVID-19 guidelines masks are to be worn and social distancing practiced.
