James Edward Buretz, 85, of Morgantown passed away peacefully at Sundale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. James was born in Baxter, WV on January 10, 1935 to the late Matt Buretz and Anna Elizabeth Yedlosky Buretz. James worked for many years as a Service Station Operator at Bonded and Texaco and enjoyed buying and selling antiques. He was Catholic by faith. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. James is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joann Neer Buretz; son: James Merl Buretz of Morgantown; two granddaughters: Jennifer Nicole Buretz of California and Brittany Rose Buretz of Texas; and two great grandchildren in Texas. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son: Joseph Matthew Buretz; two sisters: Mary Stanley and Margie Seeley; two brothers: Steve Buretz and Leo Buretz.
