Mary Alice Gibson Gillespie, 54, of Morgantown passed away peacefully on July 19, 2015 surrounded by family and friends at her home. Mary was born in Kingwood, WV on August 21, 1960 to Robert C. Gibson Sr. of Morgantown and the late Bertha Ruth Johnson Gibson.
Mary worked at Eastwood Elementary School as the head custodian. She was a Mormon by faith. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed crafts, working puzzles, and spoiling her grandchildren, and Tinkerbell, her dog.
Mary is survived by the love of her life, George Kermit Gillespie Jr.; three daughters Debra Lynn Moran of Kingwood, Diana Lynn Moore and her husband Jimmie of Reedsville, and Tera Ann Gillespie of Reedsville; four sons David Morgan Fisher and his fiance Yvonne, Michael James Fisher Sr. and his wife Kayla, Carl Wayne Morgan and his wife Jennifer, and Matthew Robert Morgan and his companion Christina, all of Reedsville; step daughters Tammy, Vicki, and Jamie Gillespie; step-son Gary Gillespie; sisters Teresa, Diana, an Clara; brothers Kenneth, Paul, and Robert, Jr.; grandchildren James, Austin, Jay, Mary Deanna, Kaylee, Landyn, Nevaeh, Michael Jr., Dylan, Carley, Leann, Leah, Mary Alice, Jimmie IV, and Zane; step-grandchildren David, Katie, Jessica, John, Emma, Nicole, Megan, Kiera, Madison, and Trinity.
Friends and family may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service with Chris Gillespie and Bernard Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
