William Park “Skip” Weaver, Jr., age 70, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Madison Rehab Center. Skip was born on December 21, 1949 in Morgantown, a son of the late William Park Weaver, Sr. and Anna Marie Weaver.
Skip was a Vietnam disabled veteran, serving his country honorably. Skip later worked as a printing press operator at Westover Printing, Borg Warner and WVU. Skip enjoyed many years at the Cheat Lake Second Backwater Camp. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Skip is survived by his siblings, Mike Weaver and fiancée Sheri Fortney, Tara Prim and husband Dick, Lon Weaver and wife Katie, brother-in-law, Bob Travinksi; grandson, Alex Weaver; and many nieces, nephews, and their children.
In addition to his parents. Skip was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Travinksi; brother, Robert Weaver, and son, William “Skipper” Weaver.
