Norman Keith Cummings Sr., age 73, of Westover, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 26, 1942 in Morgantown, a son of the late James Cummings Sr. and Virginia Arnett Cummings. Norman had been a coal miner for Consolidation Coal Company and was a member of the UMWA. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved fishing. Norman is survived by two daughters, Tammy Alexander of Morgantown and Jennifer Cummings- Wilson and husband James Wilson Jr. of Fairmont, two sons, Keith Cummings Jr. and wife Shirley of National and Stephen Cummings and wife Ann of Brookhaven, grandchildren, Ashley Cummings, Brian Cummings, Tania Bunnell, Michael Bunnell, James Wilson III, Jenna Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Sharon Alexander, and Rebekah Alexander, sisters, Cheryl Allamong and Marian Wiles, brothers, Edward Cummings and Ralph Cummings and his feline companion, Abby. Norman was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Donnie Cummings. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 12 from 10:00am until the 11:00 am service.
