Obituary of Carol Ann Ayersman

Carol Ann Ayersman, age 63 of Morgantown passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at WVU Medicine Hospital.  She was born April 17, 1955 in Morgantown a daughter of the late William “Jock” Riffle and Elma Lemley Riffle.

Carol was a graduate of MHS Class of 73 and WV Career College as a medical office assistant.  She was a member of Covenant EMC Church and also had attended Westover Wesleyan Church. Carol faithfully attended the Women of Faith Conference for over twenty years and participated in the Covenant Women’s group.   She worked for many years in clothing retail at Belk, J.C. Penny and Proffits.  Carol also enjoyed helping with the children’s dance recitals for her friend Mindy.

Carol is survived by her husband of 40 years,  Chester Ayersman, two brothers, David Riffle (Ruth) of Morgantown and Robert Riffle (Dorothy) of Kingwood, niece, Robine and nephew, Bobby, great nephews, Mason, Leo, Zach, and Alex and great nieces, Madison, Jessica and Jodi and her faithful feline friends, Precious and Polly.

Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover from 3-5 & 7-9 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Sean Wightman officiating.  Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
