Obituary of A. Joyce Robinson

A. Joyce Robinson, age 83, of Morgantown passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018.  She was born December 15, 1934 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Opal and Mary Fowler.

Joyce had been employed at Sterling Faucet for 36 years and was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church.  She was a University High School graduate where she was a cheerleader and the May Queen.  Joyce enjoyed playing cards with her friends and her trips to the beach.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edgar W. Robinson, one daughter, Kim Murray and husband Doug of Cheat Lake, granddaughter Nichet  Rogers and husband Mark of Cheat Lake, grandson Tyson Murray and wife Katie and their family, great granddaughter Alexis Shine and husband Ryan, and great great grandchildren, Waylon Jennings and Rainah Shine all of Morgantown, cousin, Rita O’Neal Crosby and husband  Mark of Louisiana, and lifelong friends, Esther Summers of Morgantown and the late Herbert Summers.

Per Joyce’s request, cremation services will be provided by McCulla Funeral Home with private interment to be held at Fletcher Cemetery at a later date. Those desiring to may make donations in Joyce’s memory to the Mon County Humane Society, PO Box 390, Morgantown, WV  26507-0390.   Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
