Carl Joseph “CJ” Neely Jr., age 30, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at WVU Medicine surrounded by his loving family.  He was born March 25, 1988 in Morgantown a son of Carl and Doreen Korzun Neely of Morgantown.

CJ was employed as a pipefitter with Local 152 in Morgantown.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to his camp.  CJ was a caring person with a wonderful sense of humor.  He was a hard worker and a strong individual.

In addition to his parents, CJ is survived by his wife, Kristie Ann Neely; three daughters, Chloey, Carly, and Kelsey Neely; one sister, Ciara Neely and nephew Levi of Waynesburg, PA; one brother, Colbie Neely of Morgantown; maternal grandfather, Jack Korzun of Westover; his beloved dog, Gregory; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

CJ was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Freda Neely and maternal grandmother Sara Korzun.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the United Cerebral Palsy 1825 K Street NW Suite 600 Washington, DC 20006 or at www.ucp.org

Friends may call at the Laurel Point United Methodist Church from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Junius Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow at Arnettsville Cemetery.  McCulla Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
