Charles David Locke, 75, of Morgantown, WV, departed this life on Saturday, June. 23, 2018.

David was born November 11, 1942, in Ritchie County, WV, the son of the late Emery Dale Locke and Nellie Monalee Reaser Locke. He was a petroleum engineer and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Morgantown. David also proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by a daughter and spouse, Jill and Matthew Alexander of Nashville, TN; a daughter and spouse, Carey and Adam Ensminger of Tulsa, OK; a sister, Ernestine Houser, of Bedford, VA; four grandchildren, Wesley Alexander of Nashville, TN, Madeline, Piper, and Anna Kate Ensminger of Tulsa, OK.  

He is preceded in death by his wife Sheryl Ann Locke.

Friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd, Morgantown, WV on Tuesday, June 26 from 6 until 7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 7 pm with the Rev. Dr. James Stinespring officiating. A graveside service will take place at South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in West Union , WV on Wednesday, June 27th at 11 am.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to: South Fork Baptist Church, 5627 Holbrook Rd, West Union, WV 26456.
