Marion Elizabeth “Fuzz” Mayhew age 68 of Lazzelle- Union Road, Morgantown passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born December 16, 1946 in Shriver, WV a daughter of the late Francis King and Thelma Moore King. Marion was a homemaker and a Pentecostal by faith. Her hobbies were raising her flowers, making crafts and cooking but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. Marion is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Mayhew, one daughter, Thelma Brockett of Morgantown, two sons, William Brockett of Clarksburg and Roy Brockett of Morgantown, two step-daughters, Gina Hennicke and husband Marvin of Morgantown and Carla Courtney and husband Nate of Morgantown, one sister Shirley Lewis and husband Ronnie of Morgantown, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Edward Brockett, three sisters, Virginia Hart, Thelma Riggleman, and Helen Carroll and six brothers, Charles King, John King, Franklin King, George King, Francis King, and Robert King. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown from 3-5 & 7-9 pm Monday and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Bishop David Hudson officiating.
