Robert Wade Gemas age 73 of Summers Church Road, Morgantown passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Monongalia General Hospital. Robert was born November 14, 1941 in Morgantown a son of the late Wade Gemas and Dulcie Stevens Gemas. Robert was a retired machinist for RH & M Machine shop and also proudly served in the United States National Guard for six years. Robert was a devoted golfer and a member of the Paradise Lake Golf Club. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching TV with his two cats. Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Theresa Gemas, one sister Marie Reppert, two brothers, Richard Gemas and wife Rosemary and Marvin “Dube” Gemas and wife Lana all of Morgantown, two sisters-in-law, Liz Taylor Hovatter and Dalice Berkshire, nieces and nephews, Mark Gemas, Tess and Charley Berkshire, Alyson Collins, Beckie Ebert, Terry Berkshire, Lisa Christopherson, Lisa Gray, and Ray Taylor and great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road on Thursday, from 4-6 pm. Private burial services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
