Obituary of David Charles Hartley

David Charles Hartley, 65, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 29 at home.  He was born October 17, 1951 in Morgantown, a son of Mabel Brock Hartley of Morgantown, and the late Charles Junior Hartley.

David worked in pharmaceutical sales at Abbott Laboratories. He loved attending car shows and attending activities with local car clubs. David also loved to fish and camp. He attended Kingdom Evangelical Methodist Church.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his sons, Zachary David Hartley of Morgantown, and Casey Nicholas (Jessica) Hartley of Erie PA; his sisters, Sharon (Bill) Miller of Parkersburg, and Susan (Robert) Brancheau of Houston, TX; grandchildren Jackson Hartley, Lucas Coombs, Anna Coombs, and Kohen Smith; nieces Sarah Watson, Amanda Brancheau, and Tami Miller; and nephew Tim Miller; and his companion, Sharon Coombs.

In addition to his father, David is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Sue Pavone Hartley; and a brother, Joel Douglas Hartley.

Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the 12 Noon funeral service with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
