Obituary of Ronald Lee Davis

Ronald Lee Davis, age 72, of Westover, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Ronald was born in Jefferson, PA on March 5, 1945, a son of the late Jack and Etta Bittinger Davis. Ronald proudly served his country, serving in the US Army. He later worked at Consolidated Coal Co. as a coal miner until his retirement. In his free time, Ronald enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was also a former member of Granville Apostolic Church. Ronald is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sue Ellen Toothman Davis; sons, Ronald Lee Davis, Jr. and his wife Becky and Brian Keith Davis; sisters, Roberta Griffith and Rena Dulaney; grandchildren, Ronald Frederick Davis, Joey Davis, and Shelby Davis; great granddaughter, McKenna; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Buskirk; and brother, Raymond Davis. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 12, from 4-8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery with full military honors conferred by Westover VFW Post #9916 and WVANG, Camp Dawson. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com
