Obituary of Betty Lou Wilson

Betty Lou Wilson, age 82, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Evergreen Assisted Living surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Delmar, WV on October 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Lewis Morton and Icie Hilyard Morton.
Betty worked various jobs and was Protestant by faith. She had a longtime love of music and was proud to have recorded a record “He’ll Forget All About You.” in Nashville with the George Jones band in 1978. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Cindy, Carolyn Walker and husband Carl of River Road and Sherry Carder Monazam and husband Essi of Morgantown; son, Timothy Alan Carder and wife Kathy Ma of Alexandria, VA; sister, Frances “Franny” Milik; brothers, Willis “Bubby” Morton, Sr. and Louis “Junior” Morton; grandchildren Robert Glover, Chris Glover, April Glover, Layla Monazam, Essie Monazam, Jennifer Mishra, Jeff Muster, Angie Harris and Samantha Lorenzo; and great grandchildren, Sarah Glover, Andy Glover, Dilon Glover, Logan Smazanko, Ethan Smazanko, Ellie Mishra, Hank Mishra, Brandon Smith, and Chelsey Glover.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Eber Wilson; and her son, Kenny Eugene Muster.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown from 4-8 pm Friday, February 24, and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com
