Theresa Ann Gemas, age 72, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at her home. Theresa was born in Morgantown on December 10, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert Claude Berkshire, Sr. and Helen Delinda Brewer Berkshire.
Theresa enjoyed being out in nature, gardening, and feeding deer; but her greatest love were her cats, Ozzie, Tucker, and Gus Muffin.
Theresa is survived by a niece and nephews whom she thought of as her own, Tess Berkshire, Charley Berkshire, and Mark Gemas; sister, Elizabeth Mae Berkshire Taylor Hovatter of Grafton; brother, Robert Berkshire and wife Mary of Dundalk, MD; sisters-in-law, Dalice Berkshire and Marie Reppert both of Morgantown; brothers-in-law, Dube Gemas and wife Lana, and Richard Gemas and wife Rosemary all of Morgantown; other family members include, Alyson Collins and husband Jason, Beckie Ebert and husband Kevin, Brandon and Ryan Ebert, Gracelyn Collins, Terry Berkshire and family, Lisa Christopherson and family , Lisa, Mike, and Andrew Gray, and Ray Taylor.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gemas; and brother, Lou Berkshire.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26, from 4-6 pm and also on Friday, from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com
