Annabelle Blanche Sell, 88, of Morgantown passed away on January 14, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Annabelle was born in Albright, WV on June 20, 1928 to the late Ralph D. Miller and Murhl Jessie Engle Miller.
Annabelle was a homemaker and enjoyed tending to the needs of her family at home. She was a Methodist by faith. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved listening to country music.
Annabelle is survived by her daughter Polly Van Gilder (Jim) of Morgantown; grandchildren J. “Phillip” Van Gilder, Jr. (Yvette) of Phoenix, AZ and Robyn Naugle of Morgantown; great-grandchildren Madison Naugle, Sheridan Naugle, and Kingston Wood; brother Ralph Miller “Mickey” of Albright, WV; and several other nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Everett “Glenn” Sell, who passed away in 2002; and her infant daughter, Belinda Yvonne Sell.
The family would like to thank Evergreen Assisted Living for their care over the last 12 ½ years and the doctors and staff at the SICU and 9th Floor at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wesley United Methodist Church 503 High St. Morgantown, WV 26505 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Monday, January 16 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Tuesday from 10 until the 11 am funeral service with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. She will be laid to rest between her late husband and infant daughter, at Lenox Memorial “Lutheran” Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
