Maxine June Jones, age 84, of Grove Street, Westover passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born September 1, 1931 in Allison, PA a daughter of the late Wilbur Storey and Clara Kuhns Storey. Maxine was a homemaker and a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church. Maxine loved entertaining family at her house. She also enjoyed working with ceramics and was a wonderful baker. Maxine is survived by her four sons, Carl Robert Jones, Jr. and wife Tara of Morgantown, Richard Alan Jones and wife Terry of Morgantown, Leslie David Jones and wife Barbara of Orlando, FL, and Wayne Ray Jones and wife Becky of Morgantown, one brother, Red Storey of Ohio, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Carl Jones in 1984, and three sisters, Dolores Franks, Elenor Dennis, and Ana Young. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home on Monday, December 14 from 3-7 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Rev. Marvin Carr officiating.
