Obituary of Patricia Roy

Patricia May Roy, 82, of Morgantown passed away peacefully at Sundale Nursing Home on December 14, 2015 with her family at her bedside. Patricia was born in St. George, WV on May 28, 1933 to the late Howard A. Baker and Bertha Keller Baker.
Patricia worked as office manager for Wesley United Methodist Church for 40 years, where she was a member. Patricia’s faith was the center of her life and all other aspects of life revolved around her love for her Lord. Her proudest accomplishment was her family and she made it her personal mission to love each member of her family and spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her daughters Beverly Ann Burns and her husband Alan of Ft. Myers, FL and Jackie Lynn Marhefka and her husband John of Fairmont; grandchildren Barry Marhefka and his wife Rebekah of Kingwood, TX, Curtis Burns, Christopher Burns, and Kelley Burns Wood, all of Ft. Myers, FL; three great-grandchildren Xandor, Dominic, and Hadley Marhefka, all of Kingwood, TX; three sisters Caroline Watts of Morgantown, Anna Hannon of Winston-Salem, NC, and Beverly Harki of Morgantown; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Denver Roy, who passed away on March 21, 2015; one infant sister Frances Baker; and her brother, Howard Melvin Baker.
Family will receive friends at McCulla Funeral Home on Thursday, December 17th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Friday from noon until the 1 pm funeral service. Burial will follow at Pifer Mountain Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
