John Clifton Westbrook age 53 of Morgantown passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his home. He was born November 19, 1962 in Clarksburg a son of the late Harry Clifton Westbrook and Wilma Riggins Westbrook. John was employed at the facilities department at Monongalia General Hospital. He enjoyed making daily Facebook posts and was an avid WVU fan. John adored his granddaughter, nieces, great niece, and great nephews and proudly carried the title of World’s Most Splendid Uncle and Grandfather. John is survived by his son, Thomas Westbrook and wife Rebecca of Morgantown, sister Lynda “Suzie” Martin and husband Dan of Morgantown, his former wife, Donna Westbrook, granddaughter, Evelyn Faye Westbrook, Nieces, Lora Spurbeck and husband Josh, and Christina Smith and husband Brian, great nephews, Carter Smith and Nolan Spurbeck and great niece, Eowyn Smith.
