Mary Susan Linkous, 76, of Morgantown passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at WVUMedicine. Mary was born on December 23, 1946 to the late Rhein and Fern Tinsley. Mary worked as an office manager at Dr. Clifford M. Linkous Maxillofacial Surgical Office. She enjoyed spending time at Dalton Farms working with her horses and riding with friends. She raised chickens and enjoyed working in her garden with her good friend Judy Saurborn. She was an avid cook and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. She also spent many hours volunteering for Stepping Stones, Special Olympics, and Easter Seals. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mary leaves behind her sons: Eugene Allen Linkous and his wife Theresa of Kansas, Tim Rhein Linkous and his wife Kendra of Morgantown, Clifford Madison Linkous, Jr. of Morgantown, and Brian Michael Linkous of Morgantown; five grandchildren: Mason Linkous, Tyler Linkous, Reagan Linkous, Harrison Linkous, and Kennedy Linkous. Also surviving is her sister: Margaret Ann Wirt and many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Clifford Madison Linkous, on September 12, 2018. McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation service. A visitation will be held at McCulla Funeral Home on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 4 until 6 pm. A memorial service will be held at McCulla Funeral Home at 6 pm.
