Guy Robert “Bob” Fizer, Jr., 78, of Morgantown passed away at MonHealth Medical Center on September 1, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Bob was born in Fairmont, on April 29, 1945 to the late Guy Robert Fizer, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Hindman Fizer. Bob graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School and went on to serve his country in the Army National Guard. Following his service, Bob worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals for 46 years as a maintenance supervisor and attended Kingdom: A Community Church. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed hunting, travelling, observing nature, and going to the beach. Above all, Bob loved spending time with his family and cheering on the Mountaineers. He was so loved! Bob is survived by his children: Guy Robert Fizer III and his wife Stacey of Norfolk, VA, Lisa Fizer Little and son-in-law: Rich Little of Lexington, KY, David Fizer and his wife Tracey of Landenberg, PA, and Zachary Fizer of Morgantown; grandchildren: Kylene Fizer, Hunter Fizer, Olivia Abbott, Maggie Little, Gracie Little, and Gigi Little; a great-grandson: Harrison Green; brothers: Dave Fizer and Randy Fizer; and the mothers of his children: Maria Hall and Rebecca Sams. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a grandson: Campbell Benjamin Fizer and a brother: Rodney Fizer McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation service. Visitation will be held at Kingdom: a Community Church, 540 Fairmont Road, Westover, WV, on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 4-6 pm. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 6 pm.
