I was Vince’s high school swim coach and very saddened when I learned of his passing. Vince was a kind, caring, enthusiastic and a team first athlete who was loved by his teammates and coaches. Dear Helene and family, We so much wish that we were with you today. Vince was such a joy filled, vibrant, and loving witness for Jesus. I don’t recall a time talking to him that I didn’t feel more joyful afterwards. His smile, grace, and enthusiasm for Jesus was infectious, as you know. We will be praying for each of you, as we all mourn his passing from this life, while at the same time rejoicing that he is now beholding his beloved Savior face to face. It is with deep sorrow that Chuck & I say goodbye for now to Vince. But Hallelujah, We shall meet again in that Day when there will be no more tears! Vince was a bright and shining lamp for the glory of our Beautiful Savior. Many came into the Kingdom of God because of his bold witness!! He made HIS NAME GREAT! Vince will be greatly missed. I thank the Lord for allowing me to meet Vince. The Holy Spirit in each of us immediately connected as brother and sister in Christ. Vince and his family's gift of hospitality shinned with the love of Christ. The divine appointment the Lord ordianed that evening made a way that in heaven we will know each other as we were known here. I proclaim with excitement "see you soon."
