I am very sorry to learn about Christine’s death. We graduated from Gary High School in 1970 and she was the kindest and sweetest person I have ever known. I remember her when she was a GHS cheerleader. May she Rest in Peace.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Christine. I was one year behind her in high school. She graduated with my sister Linda Sue. I have fond memories of her and her brothers and mother and father attending our church the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Gary. I remember her as always smiling and being a cheerleader for our school. It is sad that we are losing people our age and sad that we don't keep in touch with people. Prayers for the family

The Rog family has my deepest sympathy - we lived at main Gary when the Rog's moved in (net the the Fox family). They were younger than myself but they were good kids and a strong family unit. I remember how I loved to Ms. Rog would call Marion (MerryYaw) it was so cool.
We moved to Beckley but I ran into Johnny and Christine at a party at one of the church's following a football game. Christine had grown into a lovely young girl and Johnny was no longer the skinny little kid that moved into main Gary. Quiet handsome too - several years back I saw where Ms. Rog passed away and I did an internet search and tried to reach out to Marion in Morgantown to express my sympathy. The coal camps created bonds and throughout the years - I wondered how Marion, Johnny and Christine were doing - and it hurt to see the post on facebook. So sorry for your family's loss - I know you will be missed by all those that knew you -
