My sincere symphony to all the family. I am so very sorry! I pray the Service went well today. (I guess I just be getting forgetful in my older age! I was thinking they Service was later in the week! I had the Service of a 92 yr old Korean War vet, and close friend, today.)
I have very fond, good memories of all of you!
And, I know the grief and pain of loss!
Prayers!

I wasn’t fortunate enough to have grandparents growing up. Pap and Mam were the first ones to welcome me into their family 11 years ago with open arms and love me like their own. I couldn’t have asked for a better grandpa than Pap. Even when he wasn’t well himself, he always made sure to call to check on us and offer to help anyway he could. He had a solution for every problem. He had a story for every occasion. I’ll miss those stories of farming, contracting, traveling, family, and friends. He was truly one of the best people I’ve ever known. I was blessed to have him in my life for the time that I did. It was an honor to be at his side as he passed from this life into the next.

You were so much more than a grandpap you were my mentor, advisor, teacher, hunting buddy, farming buddy, firefighting buddy and all around hero. Words alone can’t even come close to explain the void I’m going to have in my life now. There never was a problem you couldn’t help me solve and now because of you I know how to keep everything going. Like I’ve told everyone I didn’t loose my pap I lost my best friend. Don’t worry same as I told you the night you passed away I’ll take care of everything now. Love you pap.

He is my dad. I never once asked him to come help fix anything that he didn't. A few months ago something broke at my house and had to face the fact he would never be able to help me again. But I was wrong. He will always be there to help. He taught me well so that I can do it on my own now. He's in heaven straightening out the crooked walls. He'll get it done. My Uncle Bob and him are the best carpenters ever!!

My sincerest condolences for his wife June and their family and friends. My Dad (Gary Yost) and I had the privilege of staying in their place one spring in Florida and hang out with them and my Uncle Gene and Aunt Sara. Nicest people and they treated us very well!! Had a great time with them.

Q: What will you never forget about Francis?
A: Francis gave me my first job working with a survey crew at Bakers and Coombs, we were surveying for the Ramada Inn and surrounding area. He also had a group of us boys that went to school with Randy come help with work on the in ground pool in at his house. Spent many nights at his house with the family, he treated me as one of his own, as he did the rest of us kids that went to his house. I have many fond and loving memories of him in my heart. Rest in Peace Francis you have worked hard and earned it, you will be missed by so many ,and you have touched so many hearts.

We admired Francis's accomplishments and work ethic. He helped us expedite the placement of our monument At Cedar Grove before we moved to Florida. God bless June and all the family.

Francis was like a brother to my Dad. Their friendship never ceased even w hen the miles between them grew. He was the definition of a good man and we loved him dearly. He was the guy you could always run things by. He made this world a better place. Peace be with you til we meet again.
