Obituary of Teresa Kay Barr
Please share a memory of Teresa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Teresa Kay Barr, 55, of Waynesburg, formerly of Daybrook, died unexpectedly on September 18, 2022 in Morgantown, WV, with her family by her side. She was born on July 21, 1967 to the late Jesse Sine Jr. and Judith “Bird” Moore Sine of Daybrook.
She graduated from Clay Battelle High School. Following her high school education, she went on to cosmetology school and later worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals as a chemist assistant, and most recently worked as a pharmacy technician, at the Clay-Battelle Pharmacy in Blacksville.
Her husband Tim was her best friend, confidant, and true love. She loved to go on long Sunday drives with Tim. She also enjoyed doing house projects with him where she was usually the project manager. Teresa liked sitting on the back porch and chatting with her daughters. She rarely missed a day that she did not check in on her girls. She valued any book by James Patterson. She also looked forward to a yearly trip to Deep Creek in the fall with her husband and friends. Teresa allowed her three grandchildren to get away with any mischievous scheme they could come up with or mess they could make. She adored spending time with the kids and rarely (if ever) told them no. She spoiled Paisley, Landry, and Easton on a daily basis with her time, surprises, hugs, kisses, and love.
Most of all Teresa loved her family. Her knowledge and laughter made anything possible. She had a smile that came easily and a love for people.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 37 years, Tim; her mother Judith “Bird” Sine; her children Jessica (Adam) Bland, Sierra (Kyle) Strother; three grandchildren, who stole Mam Teresa’s heart: Paisley, Landry, and Easton Bland; her sister Tammy Seaman; her brother Terry (Jennifer) Sine; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: John “Junie” Barr and Anna Ruth; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Teresa is proceeded in death but her beloved father Jesse R. Sine, Jr; her grandparents: Jesse R. Sine, Sr; John and Dorothy Moore; aunts uncles; and cousins.
Family and friends will be received at the Daybrook Methodist Church, 2552 Daybrook Road, on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 4-7:30 pm. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 pm with Pastor Fred Eddy II officiating. Following the service, cremation service will be provided.
