Obituary of Delbert V. Corwin

Delbert Vaughn Corwin, 85, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 8, 2022, following a battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. Delbert was born in Fairmont, WV on April 8, 1937, a son of the late Dorothy Mae Corwin and the late Kenneth William Corwin.
Delbert enjoyed several professions during his lifetime, including coal mines, construction, and union laborer. He also loved to fish and spend time with friends and family and his three pups; Tiny, Squirt, and the late Tippy.
Delbert will be joining his late wife, Roxanne Corwin, at the Beverly Hills gravesite at a later date.
Delbert was also preceded in death by sons, Delbert “Bobo” Vaughn Corwin II, and Frederick “Freddy” Lee Corwin; and brothers, John Corwin (Shirley), Richard Corwin, and Ronald Corwin (Mabel).
Delbert is survived by his sons, Kenneth “Kenny” Corwin, Jon Allan Corwin, and James “Jimmy” Thomas Corwin (Donna Jo); daughters, Tina Lou Corwin (Dee Perkins), Katie Johnson, and Kelly Ann Moore; daughter-in-law, Patty Corwin, sister-in-law, Ruby Corwin; grandchildren, Dominic Corwin, Steven Perkins, Talina Corwin, Tarissa Corwin, Brianna Perkins, David Perkins, Jon Corwin, Jr., Isaiah Corwin, Kirklyn Corwin, Josh Corwin, Christopher Corwin, Justin Corwin, Ledger Corwin, Garrett Corwin, Breah Fitzwater (Chase), Corey Edgell, Amanda Edgell, Samantha Johnson; and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
McCulla Funeral has provided cremation service. A memorial service will take place at Rivesville United Methodist Church on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11 am with Pastor David Stilgenbauer officiating.
