Nora Belle Eddy, 103, of Little Indian Creek Road, died August 25, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Morgantown, WV. She was born February 10, 1912 to the late James Dallas Eddy and Bessie Newbraugh Eddy of Little Indian Creek Road Morgantown, WV. Nora was a homemaker and was employed briefly at the Laurel Point School. She was known throughout her community for the beautiful handmade quilts she created for her family and her loyal customers. Nora was Methodist by faith and attended Lynch Chapel Church. She is survived by one sister, Marie McClure of Core, WV; one nephew, Donald McClure of Core, WV; one cousin, Wilda Lemley of Waynesburg, PA; nieces, Doris Webb of Naoma WV, Thelma Jarrell of Roanoke WV, Beatrice Trickett of Roanoke WV, Hazel Clarke of Uniontown, PA, Ethel Howell of Sanford, NC and Janice Tidrick (BJ Willard) of Blacksville, WV; great-nephews, Junior (Genny) Johnson, Brian Johnson, Michael (Eve) Johnson, David (Debbie) Johnson, Roger (Martha) Johnson, Danny (Penny) Johnson, Jimmy (Darlene) Johnson, Randy (Annetta) Johnson, Allen Bishop, Rick Bishop, Larry (Sandy) Grubb, Gary Grubb, Ronald Grubb, Kevin (Jennifer) Grubb, Brian Smith, Doug Tennant, and one special great-nephew Billy (Dorothy) Johnson; great-nieces Cathy (Kenny) Nicholson, Sandy (Mark) Blaschak, Joyce Labi, Carolyn Sue (Doug) Clevenger, Debra (Larry) Webb, Valerie (Tim) Webb, Kim (Mark) Minigh, Cindy (Eddie) Sines, Cathy (Harry) Norm, Heather Tidrick (Donnie Morgan), and one special great-niece, Candace McClure. Surviving family members also include Gerri Johnson, Ruth Johnson, and many great-great, great-great-great nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Pearl Johnson and Nellie Trickett; one brother, Roy Eddy and several cousins, nephews, and nieces. The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Living Center for the care they provided to Nora throughout the years she lived there. Friends and family may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29 from 10 – 11 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM with Ben Abersold officiating. Burial will follow at Zoar Cemetery.
