Mary Delores Jefferys, 74, of Morgantown passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at her home. Mary was born in Morgantown on March 19, 1941 to the late Willis Phillips and Ethel Chisler Phillips. Mary was a homemaker and tended to every need of her family. She was a graduate of UHS. In her spare time; she loved camping with her husband and children, sewing, playing bingo, and travelling to Atlantic City. She also sold Avon and Tupperware. Mary is survived by her daughter Jo Ann Savage and her husband Delmar of Leesburg, FL; her son Paul Franklin Jefferys, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Morgantown; a brother John Phillips; grandchildren David and April Jefferys, Michael and Dezra Cralton, and Renee Taylor; and four great-grandchilren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Franklin Jefferys, Sr.; one daughter Deborah Lynn Taylor; and one brother Donald Phillips. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Morgantown Hospice. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Monday, May 4th from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 5th at 11 am. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
