John Parrotta age 76 of Saylor Road, Westover passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born November 16, 1938 in Morgantown a son of the late Joseph and Teresa Leo Parrotta. John was a retired glass blower at Davis-Lynch Glass Company with over forty years of service. In his free time he loved watching NASCAR and professional wrestling. John is survived by the mother of his children, Phyllis Dezzutti Orinick, two daughters, Carol Copeland and husband Mike of Morgantown, and Tracy Walker and husband Greg of Canal Winchester, OH, one son John Parrotta of Morgantown, one step-son, Skip Spacht and wife Debbie of Mt. Morris, two grandsons, Brennan Petrucci, and Tyler Copeland, one granddaughter, Annie Walker and one step grandson, D. J. Spacht, three sisters, Elizabeth Saluga, Angela Porreca, and Pauline Spooner. John was preceded in death by his friend and companion, Stella Claypole, six brothers, Tony, Felix, Frank, Sam, Joe, and Richard Parrotta, two sisters, Margaret Calemine and Rose Parrotta, two grandchildren, Blake and Shelby Walker, and his best friend and canine companion, Hankie. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown from 3-5 & 7-9 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Brad Bennett officiating.
