Obituary of Berdeal DeWeese Conley

Berdeal DeWeese Conley, 76, of Morgantown WV, passed away February 07, 2018 at home.  She was born July 17, 1941 in Minnora, WV. 

She was a retired bookkeeper.  She never met a stranger.  She was an adventurous soul: boating, fishing, and traveling the world.  When her children were young she was always volunteering for school and band activities.   She was a Girl Scout Leader in the 70’s.  She was a member of the Women’s Club in Charleston for many years.  She survived the Great Coal River Canoe Race twice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fletcher Conley; her father and mother, Rex and Mabyn DeWeese, her sister Wilma Seckman Blauvelt and her son in-law, Stephen L. Rinehart.

Those surviving include, her daughters: Laura A. Conley-Rinehart; Linda Corrado; Lisa C. Jones (Chris); siblings: Arlena Shields (Jim), Judy Tucker (Ron), Joyce Sue Blauvelt, Clarence DeWeese (Trish), Ricky DeWeese (Vickie), Jill Metz (Roger), Ronnie DeWeese (Rhonda), David DeWeese (Flisha) and many cousins, nieces, nephews.

A celebration Berdeal’s life will be held at a later date in Calhoun County, WV. The family would appreciate any donations to the Alzheimer's Association, at P.O. Box 96011Washington, D.C. 20090-6011. McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
