Obituary of Janet M. Wilson
Janet M. “Skip” Wilson, 78, of Morgantown, WV passed away on January 8, 2018 at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born May 27, 1939 in Tunnelton, WV, daughter of the late Artis and Alice Danser.
She grew up in Star City, and attended Morgantown High School, graduating in 1957. Following high school, she married the late Ronald R. Wilson on November 20, 1958 in Oakland, MD. Together, they moved to Bellflower, California in 1959 and later bought a home in Artesia, California. She worked at Robert Shaw in Long Beach, CA. In 1996, they won the award of most outstanding home in the city of Artesia. She and Ron moved back to Morgantown in 1997, where they built a home and retired.
She is survived by her daughter, Shari Wilson, of Westover, her grandson J.J. Enkhorn and his wife Alysa of La Palma, Ca; her grandson Jacob Enkhorn of Westover, her granddaughter Heather Gascon and her husband Mathieu of Marietta, PA, her grandson Nicholas DeGroot of Westover, her granddaughter Sarah DeGroot of Morgantown and two great- grandchildren: Alexander Sowell and Nora Gascon; two sisters: Shirley Miller of Murrieta, CA, Mary Jane Hancock of Coeur d’alene, ID, and one brother Darrell Danser of Grass Valley, CA.
McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services and inurnment will take place at Beverly Hills Cemetery. In honoring Janet’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. She will be remembered for her giving, selfless nature, and the enormous love she showed to the ones around her. She will be greatly missed and loved eternally by her family and friends.
