Obituary of Loretta Davis

Loretta “Joey” Davis age 81 of Westover went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 15, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born October 20, 1936 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Harold C. Arnett and Jessie May Michael Arnett.

Loretta had been employed as a farm loan clerk for the U.S. Department of Agriculture`s Farmers Home Administration.  She was a longtime member of the Hagans Christian Church where she was the founder of the SAUCE Club.  When not participating in family or church activities, Joey enjoyed playing bingo at the Granville Fire Dept.

Joey is survived by two daughters, Jessica Lea Chivers and husband Gary of Morgantown and Cynthia Jo Bell of Morgantown, grandchildren, Jodi Lee Farrier of Sinking Spring, Pa and Evonna Kolleen Bell of Morgantown, great granddaughter, Rosalind Aprile Farrier, sisters, Glenda Facemire, Bonita Miller, Sandra Townsend and husband Kenny, and Paula Moore and husband Donald, and brother-in-law, Dale Clark.

Joey was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Clark.

Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover on Monday from 2-7 pm.  Friends may also call at the Hagans Christian Church on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm funeral service with Pastor Isaac Harmon officiating.  Burial will follow at Arnettsville Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
