Obituary of Virginia Lee Stansberry

Virginia Lee Stansberry age 75 of Morgantown, WV passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.  She was born June 26, 1941 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Howard William Raley and Lulu Mae Core Raley.

Virginia was active with the food pantry at the Rock Forge Neighborhood House.  In her spare time she loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to lunch with her friends, and was well known for her homemade cooking and baking with her granddaughter Taylor.

Virginia is survived by three sons, Michael Stansberry and wife Ann, Rick Stansberry and wife Mindy, and Brad Stansberry and fiancée Rebecca Mallow, all of Morgantown, seven grandchildren who she adored, Zack and fiancée Kylie Panepinto, Christopher, Taylor, Collin, Caleb, Brennen and Bryson, Brothers, Bill, John, and Larry.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Howard P. Stansberry, sisters, Dottie Wilson and Joyce Talpur Raley and a brother Bob Raley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Virginia’s memory to Habitat for Humanity at: 251 Don Knotts Blvd.  Morgantown, WV  26501.

Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Morgantown on Friday from 1-3 and 5-7 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
