Georgieann T. Mallow, 89, of Grafton Rd., Morgantown passed away Thursday, February 2 at home of daughter, Susan surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 15, 1928 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late John William Shipp and Beulah E. Fowler Shipp. Georgieann was a homemaker who lovingly attended to the needs of her family, and had attended Riverside Apostolic Church. She loved growing African Violets, making dolls and loved working with crafts, ceramics, crocheting, sewing; and particularly liked house plants. Those Georgieann leaves behind to cherish her memory, include her husband of over 71 years, Harmon Ray Mallow; daughter Susan Nutt and her husband John of Morgantown; son Ronald Lee Mallow and his wife Teresa of Belington, WV; seven grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was met at Heaven’s gate by her son, David Ray Mallow; sisters Edna Daily, Virginia Kurcaba, and infant sister Dorothy Shipp; and brothers, John William Shipp Jr and James Frederick Shipp. Friends are invited to gather in support of the family at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown on Saturday, February 4, from 5-9 pm and Sunday, February 5, from 1 until the 2 pm funeral service with Pastor Nathaniel Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
