Cynthia Hope Neely, age 60, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Cindy was born in Morgantown on June 17, 1956, a daughter of the late Austin and Delores Smith Neely, Jr. Cindy was raised in Westover and graduated from University High School in 1974. She later spent her working days as a truck driver, coal miner and served in the United States Navy. Cindy loved sports and was an avid softball player. Cindy is survived by her brother, Paul Frederick Neely of Harvest, AL. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown from 5-8 pm Wednesday and on Thursday from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service.
