Ronnie M. Spadafore, 61 born December 22, 1954 passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. He was the son of the late Tony and Betty Spadafore.
Ronnie retired after 35 years, working in the coal mines at Eastern Federal # 2 and was a member of the UMWA. He loved his family dearly, especially his wife “Pooker.” They were truly inseparable.
Ronnie was a born again Christian and attended Delmar Chapel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of forty years, Pamela Sue (Coombs) Spadafore, two daughters Jennifer Miller and husband Ben and Julie Gump and husband Mark, and one son Jeremy Spadafore, all of Morgantown, seven grandchildren, Chasity & Hunter Gump, Emma, Hanna, and Lexi Miller, and Alyssa & Skylar Spadafore, three sisters, Betty Ann Neer and husband Woody, Debbie and Jeannie Spadafore, along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his father and Mother-in-law, Frank and Doris Coombs, and two grandsons, Dakota & Ethan Miller.
Ronnie was a loving husband, a wonderful dad, and a great pappy, that will be deeply missed and treasured forever.
Thanks be to God, that while we are apart here on Earth, we will be together again in our eternal home, “Heaven,” through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown on Tuesday from 4-8 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until the noon funeral service with Pastor Ray Fluharty officiating. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Mausoleum.
