Hemant Patel, age 59, residing at 1405 Far Meadows, Morgantown, WV 26508, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Hemantbhai was born in Baroda, in the state of Gujarat, India. He was the son of Ishverbhai and Shardaben Patel.
Hemantbhai is survived by his father, Ishverbhai Patel; wife, Kalpanaben Patel; son, Pranav Patel; daughter-in-law, Ami Patel; daughter, Yesha Khetarpal; son-in-law, Vikram Khetarpal; brother, Shailesh Patel and his wife Daksha; and sister, Nayana Patel and her husband Pravin.
He has lived in Morgantown since 2002 and immigrated to United States in 1993. He was a successful businessman and a partner/owner in multiple hotels and motels.
His friends and family knew him as a very happy and friendly person who always had a smile on his face. He loved to travel, loved life, and family. He was a devotee of Lord Krishna.

Family and friends will be received at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road Morgantown, on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 9:15am. Lakshman, a priest from ISKCON Baltimore temple, will perform last rites and cremation services for Hemantbhai.
